Cancellation Policy:

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule you appointment so we can offer your spot to another person.  We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. If cancellation occurs after this window, or if you do not show up for the appointment without notice, the full cost of the service is applicable and no refund will be provided. We understand that severe weather, illness and emergencies happen, please contact us if you believe an exception should be made. Conditions of Service Policy:  

A valid driving licence must be shown and carried in each driving lesson.  Failure to present a current Queensland Driver’s licence to the Driving Instructor will result in cancellation of the lesson and all lesson costs forfeited. The student is responsible for informing the driving instructor prior to the lesson commencing, of any medical conditions or medication taken either prescribed or non-prescription, alcohol or recreational drug use which would put them over the legal limit and/or unable to operate a motor vehicle safely.  The student must obey all traffic regulations and laws of the state whilst participating in lessons, Blackbird Driving School does not accept any responsibility for any traffic infringements or speeding fines occurred during lessons.  The Student agrees to pay for the excess on Blackbird Driving School's insurance if at fault in causing an accident. Blackbird Driving School reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time, including terminating a lesson without reimbursement if the Driving Instructor feels unsafe. Learner Pick up and Drop off address for Driving Lessons provided in Gift Vouchers and Value Packs must be with the Service Area of Blackbird Driving School. Gift Vouchers are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
